Heinz G Stripp was born in Germany in 1934. He served in the German Merchant Marines from 1953 To 1955. During this time, he experienced first hand the capabilities of freight and tanker vessels.
Stripp immigrated to the United States in 1960, and was naturalized in 1965. In 1972 he began working for Keystone Ski Resort, in Summit County Colorado. There he designed the electrical system for the Keystone snowmaker and learned snowmaking first hand.
Since then, Stripp has managed electrical estimation and construction for major projects such as bulk freight transfer piers in Newport News VA, and the 777 plant for Boeing in Puyallup, WA.
Stripp is also a published author. He currently resides in Philadelphia.
